We all know that Amazon Prime and Target can be hugely convenient for the endless supplies of diapers, burp cloths, pacifiers, etc. that babies need. But there’s something about the experience of walking into a shop that’s exclusively for babies and children and choosing something special. Bonus: you get to support a small business too! Here’s a list of 5 Atlanta baby stores to help you plan your shopping:
Happy Mango Baby Boutique: This shop specializes in eco-friendly products and they have some offerings that are super helpful! First off, they offer free car seat installations and education for seats purchased from them. Otherwise, there is a $50.00 charge. So much better than going the YouTube route and hoping you did it right! Secondly, they offer pregnancy subscription boxes to spoil expecting mamas. And man do they deserve it. On top of this, they have your classic choices of baby gear, toys, clothes, furniture, etc. Address: 200 Chattahoochee Row NW, Ste D, Atlanta, GA 30318.
Born Baby: Here, they describe themselves as the store for modern parents and their littles. Their aesthetic is very clean and neutral and would photograph beautifully. I will definitely be sending clients here to shop for their newborn sessions! They also have toys and gear such as car seats, strollers, carriers, etc. Address: 3229 Cains Hill Place, Atlanta, GA 30305 (Buckhead location) & 675 Ponce De Leon Ave, Atlanta, GA 30308 (Ponce City Market)
The Children’s Shop: They’ve been open since 1988 and present with a very traditional southern charm. Think lots of check prints, embroidery, and monograms. Of course, in true Southern fashion, they offer the option for monogramming on several of their items. Address: 2385 Peachtree Rd, Atlanta, GA 30305.
Little Buckhead Blue: This is another shop with a very Southern look in my opinion. They’ve got lots of smocked dresses and collared shirts for boys. They also have cute options for the beach and matching pj’s for the whole family. Address: 3802 Roswell Rd NE, Atlanta, GA, 30342.
Seed Factory: This gorgeous shop was also featured in my list of Atlanta’s top toy stores which can be found here. Their clothing options are filled with beautiful earth tones. The baby toys here are very simple, which is just what I prefer. You won’t find alot of lights or battery-operated toys here! Address: 763 Trabert Ave NW, Suite D, Atlanta, GA 30318.
You’ve got a full list to choose from when looking for a baby store in Atlanta. I love that there’s a range of styles and aesthetics so you’re sure to find something that’s your style (and baby’s style of course). Once you’ve got the perfect outfit picked out, I’d love to help you with your newborn photos to show off all the cuteness. Reach out to me here and let’s chat!
