Best Options for Atlanta Prenatal Yoga

Pregnant woman in long green dress in field.

Prenatal yoga has so many benefits including improved sleep (who doesn’t want that?!), decreased stress/anxiety, decreased nausea, decreased back pain, and decreased risk of preterm labor. There are lots of great options in Atlanta for prenatal yoga and I’ve included the list below. Prenatal yoga isn’t for everyone. Please check with your healthcare practitioner about the best activity choices for you.

  • Highland Yoga: offers classes in Virginia Highland and Decatur. They have been open since 2015 and employ over 70 yoga teachers.
  • Breathe Yoga Studio: located in Chamblee, their prenatal yoga classes are taught by Cherri McCallister who has completed a 500-hour yoga teacher training and holds an additional certification for prenatal yoga.
  • Meraki Mama Collective: this practice has locations in Sandy Springs, Roswell, Kennesaw, and Acworth. They offer several classes per week and have convenient scheduling via an app. If you choose to continue yoga after the baby is born, they also offer postpartum classes.
  • Yonder Yoga: offers prenatal classes in their Midtown and Westside locations. They were voted Atlanta’s best yoga studio from 2020-2022.
  • My Cherished Life + Wellness: offers a monthly membership that includes live and virtual classes as well as monthly new mama meet-ups. This is totally something I wish I had had!!
